In this workshop you will be guided through the steps to create stunning and unique mosaic jewelry pieces. This comprehensive workshop will teach you about jewelry base selection, adhesive choice, and we will work with a wide variety of mosaic materials: mosaic gold, smalti, semiprecious stones, dichroic glass, filati, tempered glass and millefiori. You will learn the unique skills of precision cutting and artistic laying techniques – the keys to fine mosaic jewelry. This workshop will especially benefit anyone interested in learning to work in small-scale mosaic. Taught by Bonnie Fitzgerald at the new Vienna Art Center location.
