This workshop taught at ANYTHING IN STAINED GLASS, 5104 Pegasus Ct., Frederick, MD 21704

Create a beautiful mosaic flower, leaf or landscape composition in stained glass mosaic. Working from photographs or master paintings, students learn the nuances of working in stained glass and cutting techniques especially suited for this subject matter. Covered in class lecture are the principals of color, tone, perspective and cutting techniques.

Workshop fee includes substrate, adhesive, photo preparation and grout.

Instructor provides a wide variety of inspirational images, with our timeframe in mind. Students welcome to provide his or her own inspiration art, however instructor must approve 2 weeks in advance so image can be prepared for use in the workshop. Our projects will measure 12″ x 12″ or 11″ x 14″, depending on image and cropping desired.

Students can expect a great deal of personal instruction and guidance and no question will go unanswered. The rich selection of materials offered at Anything in Stained Glass will be available throughout the workshop. Students also have access to ATISG scrap bins (yummy!).

If you own mosaic tools please bring. ATISG will loan tools as needed, but your tools have a memory!

All skill levels welcome, no experience necessary.
