DESCRIPTION:This workshop will be taught by Maverick Mosaics owner Bonnie Fitzgerald and held at ANYTHING IN STAINED GLASS\, 5104 Pegasus Ct.\, Frederick\, MD 21704 \nCreate a stylized glass mosaic animal portrait. Working directly from photographs students learn to apply mosaic techniques in a portrait of an animal of their choosing. Covered in class lecture are the principals of color\, tone\, perspective and cutting techniques. Special cutting and laying techniques are introduced to determine what is best suited for your animal. \nThis is a terrific first step to mastering the portrait in mosaic.
